Yale Commercial Locks

Yale locks have been a staple in the locksmith community for years, and good reason. Yale has become synonymous with quality, security, and durability. Their locks are some of the most reliable on the market, and they continue to innovate and design new products that keep up with the latest trends in security.

Currently, Yale’s core product line is its commercial line. While Yale has many residential locks, they have not expanded into the retail market with a full line of entrance locks. Currently, their commercial offerings are limited to padlocks and medium-security cylinders.

However, this is the area where Yale truly shines. The latest addition to their product line is a series of levers with an “enhanced” cylinder. These levers are designed to be especially pick-resistant, and many people in the industry believe that they are among the most secure commercial levers on the market.

Yale also continues to manufacture their classic key-in-knob locks, with some models now having a “security latch” (similar to the security deadbolt found on most residential door locks).

Yale Smart Locks

The Yale smart lock is by far one of the most innovative locks on the market. It is a Bluetooth-enabled lock that can be opened with your smartphone. You can also create guest keys that can be sent to your friends and family.

The Yale smart lock is a great way to keep your home safe and secure. The lock’s sleek design and modern look, combined with a simple installation process, made the Yale smart lock one of our favorite locks.

The lock is easy to install. The first step is to download the Yale app (available on both iOS and Android), and then you can use it to connect your smartphone to the deadbolt. There are two installation options. You can either install the lock on new doors or replace an existing deadbolt.

We tested both methods and found that you simply remove your old lock, put some screws into the new smart lock, and then connect it with Bluetooth to your phone. The entire process should really take less than thirty minutes (including removing the old lock) for most people.

Connecting the lock to your phone is easy. To connect, you need to open up your phone’s Bluetooth settings and then press the button on the bottom of the lock under the word “connect.” Once you hit connect, you will see a message telling you that it has been paired with your phone.

Yale Keypad Lock

The Yale keypad lock is an excellent choice for people looking for a high-quality, reliable lock. The keypad lock is easy to use and can be programmed to work with up to 20 unique codes. This lock is perfect for homes or businesses with multiple users. The lock can keep track of when codes are used and can send out a notification once a code has been used more than 5 times.

This high-tech feature allows the owner(s) of a property to have a lot of flexibility in setting up access for their family or employees. The Yale keypad locks have a number of different installation options and can be installed on doors between 1-3/8 inches to 2-1/4 inches thick.

The padlocks work with a 12 VDC power supply and operate using the four AA batteries (included). Yale keypad locks come in various finishes, including satin chrome, polished brass, and wren’s gray.

The keypad locks are not only pretty, but they are durable and built to last. The lock has a zinc die-cast body with a stainless steel faceplate and a steel shackle.

Tom the Locksmith

Dear McKinney, Dallas residents. This is Tom, your local locksmith.

Since childhood, I have always been in love with any locking device. In 2002, I started as a locksmith apprentice in Denver, CO. After many years of solving all lock and key problems, I decided to open up a locksmith store in McKinney. Now I’m a full-time locksmith in McKinney, Texas.

My mission is to move people from their current crisis to solving the root cause of their lock and key problems. In addition, I’d like to give them peace of mind knowing there’s another option besides breaking a window or kicking down your door.
